Marcel Nguyen


Marcel Nguyen is a Viet-German gymnast. He recently won silver in the 2012 London Olympics men's all-around gymnastics competition, placing behind Japan's Kohei Ochimura. Nguyen also competed in the floor and parallel bars competition at the Olympics.

Nguyen started gymnastics at age four. He became a three-time European champion in bars and men's all around competition.

Lukas Podolski


Lukas Podolski is a German forward playing for the English Premier League team Arsenal. He also competes internationally for the German national team.


Born in Poland, Podolski migrated to West Germany when he was 2 years old. He was part of the German U-17 in 2001 and continued playing for the national team until he reached the senior level in 2004, where he played as the youngest German player in Euro 2004. He also played in the 2006 and 2010 World Cups, as well as in Euro 2008 and Euro 2012.

Lars Bender is a German midfielder, playing for the Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen. He previously played for 1860 Munich, from 2006  to 2009.


He also plays for the German national team since 2011. He was selected to join the German Euro 2012 team.

Sascha Klein is a German diver specializing in 10-meter platform and synchronized diving events. He also competes in 3-meter and 10-meter springboard events.

Klein and Patrick Hausding placed second in the 10-meter synchronized diving event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Michael Ballack


Michael Ballack is a professional footballer from Germany. He is currently a midfielder for the Bundesliga team Bayer Leverkusen. 


Ballack also plays internationally for Germany, playing in 2002 and 2006 FIFA World Cup as well as in European Championships in 2000, 2004 and 2008. 


He first played in Bundesliga for Kaiserslautern in 1997-99, then he moved to Bayer Leverkusen in 1999-2002, then to Bayern Munich from 2002 to 2006. He then joined Chelsea of the English Premier League in 2006, playing for the team for 3 years before returning to Leverkusen in the 2010 season.

Patrick Hausding is a German diver. He specializes in 10-meter platform synchronized diving event, often competing with his teammate Sascha Klein. He and Klein won silver in 10-meter platform synchro event in  the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
